Hi Product Hunt 👋 I started building HPS because digital documents are becoming increasingly easy to reproduce or manipulate. A certificate, official letter, report or approval can look completely genuine while having never been issued by the organisation whose name appears on it. HPS approaches this from provenance. An organisation can create a verifiable record when an original document is issued. Later, when someone encounters that document—or something claiming to be it—they can check its origin, ownership and integrity against the provenance record. I’m particularly interested in applications around certificates, institutional reports, official letters, research outputs and other documents where proving origin matters. HPS is still early, and I’m launching here because I’d like people to test the idea and challenge the assumptions behind it. I’d especially value feedback on one question: What types of documents do you think most urgently need independently verifiable provenance?
