The AI Inventory Toolkit is a practical package for documenting and managing AI systems. It includes an Dashboard, Excel Workbook, Implementation Guide, and ISO 42001 Mapping. The dashboard provides clear views of your AI inventory. The workbook provides structured fields for recording AI systems. The Implementation Guide provides practical steps for setting up and maintaining the inventory. The ISO 42001 Mapping explains why each field is collected and how it supports AI governance.

We built this toolkit after seeing that organizations often struggle with a basic question: “What AI systems are we actually using, and what do we need to know about them?” Many inventory templates provide a spreadsheet but little guidance on what information to collect or how to use it. I wanted to create something more practical—a ready-to-use workbook combined with a management dashboard, implementation guide, and ISO/IEC 42001 mapping. As we developed it, the approach evolved from simply documenting AI systems to creating a structured process for discovering, classifying, reviewing, and managing AI systems. The goal was to make it useful not just for creating an inventory, but as a practical starting point for AI governance.
