DeepSeekGUI is a Windows desktop client for DeepSeek Harness — DeepSeek's open-source coding agent. V1 packages the official Harness Web UI into a native app with desktop integration: one-click installer, built-in browser (visible Edge — watch the agent browse in real time), sandboxed terminal, system tray, and a bilingual interface. Just the installer and a DeepSeek API key. Everything else is bundled. V2 with a fully custom workbench is in active development.

Hey everyone! 👋 I built DeepSeekGUI because I wanted to use DeepSeek's coding agent without setting up Node.js or running CLI commands. V1 is honest about what it is — a desktop wrapper around the official Harness Web UI, with some useful additions (installer, built-in browser, terminal, sandbox). It gets you from "download" to "coding with an agent" in about a minute. V2 is where it gets interesting — I'm building a custom workbench from scratch, designed specifically for desktop.
