Find, create, and share AI assistants for almost anything—all from a single app. Stop juggling AI apps. Discover experts built for every task from writing, studying, coding, travel, recipes, fitness, images, business, and more—all together. Kniknak works wherever you do. Share a webpage from your browser, a YouTube video, or a TikTok directly to Kniknak, and it instantly summarizes the content, explains it, or answers questions about it—without copying links and switching apps.
Hey ProductHunt community. This is one of our first apps in over a decade for our own company instead of working for someone else. The goal of our app is to make it easier for novice users to get the most out of their AI experience and give more seasoned AI users the ability to create and share their knowledge with the community.
We also wanted to make AI easier to access and minimize friction by letting users share websites, YouTube videos, TikToks, and more directly to Kniknak from the Share menu. Instantly summarize, analyze, ask questions, and chat with anything they find online. It even has a phone number on WhatsApp to interact with Kniknak without ever WhatsApp!
We will be adding or enhancing one or more new stand alone tools like our image creator and/or assistants like our study tutor every week. So let us know what we're missing or you'd like to see in the app and it may be added in the following release!

The share-to-summarize flow sounds really smooth, and being able to pull in YouTube and TikTok directly is exactly the kind of thing I keep wishing other apps would do. One thing I'd love to see is a way to chain multiple assistants together in a single workflow, so I could hand off the output of one expert to another without copy-pasting in between.

@evket1182314 That's an excellent idea. We've been thinking about a flow like that. We want to see if it can be user friendly for casual users while also being effective for power users. We were first wanting to put more options for output into the app first. For output we want to be able to allow users to share an AI result directly to TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn and give options for formatted the results. But we definitely have your idea on the roadmap! Thanks for the feedback!

Finally sat down with this and the share-from-YouTube thing is genuinely handy. Saved me from the constant copy-paste routine and the summary was actually pretty spot on.

@kellyparketl6a Thanks. It has a flaw that I want to remedy in the next week. If the video didn't generate a transcript it doesn't capture the summary. I have a way to fix this but it is more involved than I had hoped.

Love the all-in-one idea here. One thing I'd love to see is a "recently used" row on the home screen so I can jump back into my most-used assistants without scrolling or searching each time. Would save a lot of taps for people like me who rotate between a few favorites daily.

@sevimfgsb Great idea. We'll put this on the Roadmap!

Love that you can share directly from YouTube or TikTok without copying links, that one-tap flow feels really thoughtful. Makes the whole "one app for everything" pitch actually believable.

@nazlneslitxgni Thanks. I appreciate that. I'm trying to minimize friction with getting information from our AI. :)
