honestly this sounds super useful, the tailored resume per application thing is what got me. one thing though, can you add a quick way to see which version of my resume performed best for callbacks? like some sort of tracking that shows response rates tied to each resume variant. that would make the whole optimization loop actually close.

Honestly, thank you for this. We only just went live, so having someone actually get in and think this hard about it this early genuinely means a lot. Welcome aboard.
And it is a great question, so let me be straight with you about where we are.
Every resume we build is already its own thing. It is shaped to that exact job, and your profile keeps growing as you add to it, so no two are ever really the same version measured twice. That alone makes comparing one against another kind of slippery.
The bigger thing is everything that happens after you hit send. Every company is different. Different HR, different response times, different intent. A great resume can sit for weeks while a plain one gets a reply that same afternoon, just because of who read it and when. So if we tied response rates to a resume version, we would mostly be handing you noise none of us can control, and that would steer you wrong more than it would help. That is why we care about what is in the resume first.
Here is what I can promise you though. Your resume is quietly getting sharper over time. Without pulling the curtain back too far, there is a success signal running underneath it, based on how specific companies actually respond. And as more people spend time in CoBlack, we start to learn the companies too, not just the resumes. That is where this gets really interesting, and it is a chapter we will come back to.

The dashboard feels genuinely transparent, I can actually see which resume went to which posting, which is rare. Wish the scoring explained its reasoning a bit more, but overall it cut my apply time way down.

Thank you, this genuinely made my day. Seeing which resume went to which posting is exactly the thing we wanted people to feel and almost never get to, so it means a lot that it landed. And if it cut your apply time down, that is the whole point. Welcome in.
On the scoring, you are right to want more, and it is actually a deliberate choice. We could show a lot more reasoning behind each score, but the honest truth is nobody has time to read, digest, and react to a full breakdown for every single job. So instead of handing you homework, we surface the one thing that actually helps you move, the skills gap, and we take the rest onto ourselves.
And this is exactly where we are headed. In the next few weeks we are rolling out something with Co-B (the Career Watchdog / AI Agent) that I am genuinely excited about, on the free plan too, that reads the gap for you and pulls out only the few things worth your attention. It will help you improve your profile and market fit and one of the input it gets is these gaps. The idea is simple. You spend your time on what matters, and we quietly handle the noise.

Being able to see the exact resume sent per application is a really nice touch. One thing I'd love is a short note explaining why a job was rejected as a bad match, so I can understand the scoring and adjust my preferences over time.

Talha my friend, appreciate you. Seeing the exact resume that went out is honestly one of my favorite parts too.
But think about it, what's the point of automating any of this if you still have to read a reason and go fix your profile for every single job? That's just the same busywork with extra steps. We already show you what the job's asking for and what you're missing, so the gap is right there.
What we're building now takes it further. Most of those low scores aren't bad jobs, they pass your filters but just miss on capability underneath. So instead of making you decode a note, we just ask you straight, do you have this skill or not. Feels like a simple question, but underneath it's doing the whole thing for you. B basically what you would have done, it will do it for you while keeping you in control to steer it the right way. More on that soon as we are working on this exact feature, and seriously, thanks for pushing on this.
I am sure one of these responses, ill forget to add my calendar (my Calendar) but the offer is open and it is going to be hard to be present for all but I would love to hear anything if you have to improve this product or just talk how much we all love the current job market. :)
The fact that you can open the exact resume sent with each application is such a thoughtful touch. Most auto-apply tools feel like a black box, so actually seeing what went out builds a lot of trust.

honestly the part where it shows the actual resume sent with each application is kind of a game changer, finally something that doesn't just shotgun applications into the void
