One thing that would make this even better is a built in follow up tracker that pings you before the statutory deadlines pass and reminds you to escalate if the landlord or provider ignores the response.
@elifnur3asg That is a strong idea. The statutory clocks are where tenants lose leverage: the landlord ignores the first letter and the window to escalate to the Housing Ombudsman quietly passes. One thing that would make this even more useful for me would be the ability to upload a PDF or scan of a paper trail like invoices, repair reports or correspondence alongside the email thread. A lot of my evidence lives outside WhatsApp and being able to bundle it into the same analysis would save having to retype dates and quotes into the complaint letter.
@enaygndodut9tp This is exactly right. Most real disputes live in a shoebox of invoices, repair reports and letters, not just one email thread. Evidence upload is going on the roadmap: attach PDFs and scans, pull the dates and amounts out, and fold them into the same timeline so nothing gets retyped. Thanks Senay.
A WhatsApp thread export can be a mess to paste cleanly with timestamps and sender names scrambled, so adding a quick parser preview where you can confirm or correct who's who before it generates the timeline would save a lot of headaches.
@haruntaghyo You have clearly pasted a WhatsApp export before. The scrambled timestamps and sender names are a real weakness, and a wrong attribution in a legal letter is worse than a messy one. Pasted a stubborn email thread with my landlord about a broken boiler and it pulled up the right regs plus a deadline I didn't even know existed, which is honestly more useful than the generic templates I've tried before.
@kardelen415764 This is exactly the case it was built for. Broken heating has some of the clearest law behind it, and the deadline you did not know existed is usually the landlord's repair window already running. If the response period passes without a proper fix, come back and generate the escalation. Glad it earned its keep, and thanks for testing it on a real dispute.
Would be useful to add a "save your case" option so you can come back and update the timeline or paste new messages from the same dispute without having to start from scratch each time. Also exporting the analysis as a PDF would make it easier to share with a neighbour or solicitor if needed.
@canturel1pwy Both of these are on the money. Disputes drag on for months, so starting from scratch every time a new email lands is a real flaw. Saved cases where you append new messages and regenerate the timeline is the plan, and a PDF export of the analysis makes sense for exactly the reason you give: showing a neighbour, a solicitor or the Ombudsman without them touching the tool. @mesuta55647 Thanks Mesut. That was the founding observation: an angry email is easy to ignore, a letter citing the exact section and a statutory deadline is not, because it signals you know the next step. The venting is free, the leverage is what gets results.
