LipRead AI reads lips in silent videos using AI. Upload any video without audio and get accurate timestamped transcripts — no microphone needed. We built LipRead AI because we noticed there was no good tool for extracting speech from silent videos. Whether it's archival footage, surveillance video, or content that lost its audio track — existing tools either require audio input or produce poor results. Our AI model analyzes lip movements frame-by-frame to reconstruct what was said.
Took it for a spin on some old silent wedding footage and it picked up phrases I could barely see myself, the timestamps line up well too.

honestly this is super useful for old archival footage, but one thing i'd love is being able to upload a folder of videos at once instead of doing them one by one. would save a ton of time if you could batch process like 20 clips together and get all the transcripts in one zip
The frame-by-frame analysis without needing any audio input is genuinely clever. Most tools I have tried either require a clean audio track or fall apart, so building something that works specifically on silent footage fills a real gap.
