iAgent is a desktop AI assistant for work that goes beyond one chat answer. Describe a task in plain language, work across files, web pages, documents, tables, and tools, then review important actions before they happen. Keep useful workflows, rerun them with new inputs, and recover from a failed step without starting the whole job again. Built for individuals who want capable AI automation without giving up control.
Hi Product Hunt — I’m Davy, the maker of iAgent.
I’m finally sharing iAgent here after personally testing the complete macOS and Windows flows on real tasks. I built it because I kept seeing the same gap in AI tools: a chat can give you a strong answer, but real work rarely ends there. You still have files to organize, sources to check, tables to update, steps to repeat, and actions you want to approve before they happen.
iAgent turns a plain-language request into work you can inspect and control. It can work across files, web pages, documents, tables, and tools. Useful workflows can be rerun with new inputs, and when one step fails, you can fix that step instead of rebuilding the whole task from scratch.
This is not a promise of a black-box agent that makes every decision for you. My goal is controlled automation: let AI handle the repeatable parts, make risky actions visible, and keep the user in charge.
iAgent is available for macOS, with a Windows beta. If you try it, I’d especially value feedback on one thing: what real task did you use it for, and where did the workflow feel unclear or get in your way?
Thanks for taking a look. I’ll be here throughout the day to answer questions and learn from your feedback.
