OctoReception is an AI receptionist for small businesses salons, clinics, contractors, anyone whose phone rings while their hands are full. It answers your business line 24/7 in English, French & Spanish: answers questions, takes messages, and books appointments straight into Google Calendar or Outlook. Callers get SMS confirmations; you get alerted the moment something needs you. Try it free in your browser hear your own receptionist answer in 2 minutes, no card required. Built in Canada.

Being able to set custom call routing rules would be really helpful. Like if someone calls during a procedure the receptionist could automatically text the caller an estimate of when the call will be returned instead of just taking a message.
@abdulsametvgoc This is exactly the kind of feedback I was hoping for, so thank you. I built it over the last two days and it's live now. When a procedure starts you tap Set busy on the dashboard and pick how long. The receptionist then tells callers honestly that the team is tied up, still takes their message or booking request, and texts them the time they can expect a callback. The moment the window passes it goes back to normal on its own. Would love for you to try it and tell me what to improve next.

One thing that would make this way more useful for my clinic would be the ability to handle prescription refill requests or flag urgent calls differently from regular bookings, maybe by transferring them to an on-call number. Right now I worry a real emergency could get caught up with appointment requests.
@gizembq9q You basically read the roadmap. Both of these went live this week. There's an Urgent calls rule that transfers real emergencies straight to your on-call number and sends you an URGENT text and email, so an emergency never sits in the same queue as appointment requests. And clinics can turn on prescription refill requests. The receptionist collects the patient's name, the medication and their pharmacy, nothing more, no health card or insurance numbers, and it lands in your inbox as a structured card with a text and email ping. Happy to walk you through setting both up on your account if you want.
