Hey Product Hunt!
I’m Guru, the founder of eatsTO.
The idea came from a simple frustration:
Every time my friends asked, “Where should we eat?”, we’d spend 20+ minutes jumping between Google Maps, Instagram, TikTok, Yelp, and Reddit and somehow still couldn’t decide.
So I built eatsTO.
Instead of endless scrolling, you can:
❤️ Swipe through restaurants like Tinder
🤖 Ask AI exactly what you’re craving
💎 Discover hidden gems
📅 Plan your entire night from dinner to drinks
⭐ Read real reviews and see practical details before you go
We’re starting with Toronto and surrounding areas, but the vision is much bigger. I want eatsTO to become the easiest way to discover great food anywhere in the world.
This is still the beginning, and I’d genuinely love your feedback. Tell me what you like, what you don’t, and what features you’d love to see next.
Thanks for checking it out. ❤️

How does the AI actually pick spots, is it pulling from reviews and live data or just a fixed list of curated places?

@kemalergdeydc3 so that’s based on an algorithm as well and also based on what you described to it like what the occasion of the visit is gonna be or if you just wanna find a new place so you’ll try to suggest something new that people have left a lot of reviews on before that it knows good match with what you need

Finally something for those endless "where should we eat" group chats. Gave it a quick spin and it nailed a spot I hadn't tried in my own neighbourhood.

@talha6u9u I really appreciate the feedback I created it exactly because of that reason what used to happen in our group chat as well
