Hey Product Hunt community! 👋
I’m the creator of AI HealthDetect. I wanted to build a clean, accessible platform that explores exactly how artificial intelligence and deep learning models are analyzing complex medical data to assist in early disease detection.
Right now, the site serves as an analytical resource breaking down these clinical breakthroughs and predictive frameworks. It was engineered using Base44 to keep the focus entirely on high-quality, structured information.
I'd love to hear your thoughts, feedback, or any questions you have about the data and the platform. Thank you for checking it out!

How do you handle data privacy and HIPAA compliance when pulling in clinical datasets, and is there an option to integrate with Epic or Cerner for real-time patient data?

@efemefruatqlzfData Privacy & HIPAA Compliance: We take data privacy seriously. Currently, our platform is designed to work with de-identified, publicly available, or user-provided research datasets, and we recommend that users avoid uploading protected health information (PHI) unless they have appropriate safeguards in place. We use secure data transmission (HTTPS) and follow security best practices, but we are not currently marketed as a HIPAA-compliant platform.
Epic/Cerner Integration: At this time, we do not offer native real-time integrations with Epic or Cerner EHR systems. However, our architecture is designed to be extensible, and support for standards such as HL7 FHIR APIs or SMART on FHIR-based integrations is on our product roadmap. We are open to working with healthcare organizations that require secure EHR connectivity and enterprise integrations.

Curious how you handle the data sources here — are these insights pulled from your own original research, or aggregated from published studies? And how current is the case study database?

@bayramzndzow4z Great question. Our insights are primarily synthesized from published, peer-reviewed research and other reputable scientific and clinical sources, rather than being generated from our own original clinical studies. The platform uses AI to aggregate, analyze, and summarize the available evidence, helping users identify patterns, compare findings, and surface relevant case studies more efficiently.
We continuously refresh our knowledge base as new publications become available, so the database evolves over time. While coverage depends on the availability of high-quality published evidence, our goal is to keep the case study library as current as possible and clearly distinguish between established evidence and emerging research. We also encourage users to review the original source publications when making research or clinical decisions.
