Hey Product Hunt 👋 I built PackForAI to fix something that annoyed me every single day. I use Claude and ChatGPT constantly for real work, and I kept hitting the same wall: I'd drop in a PDF, a messy Excel export, or a slide deck — and the answer would come back wrong. Not because the model was dumb, but because the document was a mess. Broken tables, weird line breaks, hidden formatting… and half my token budget burned before the model even understood what it was looking at. So PackForAI does one job well: it turns messy PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CSV and JSON files into clean, compact Markdown that AI actually reads correctly — with a clear before/after so you can see exactly how many tokens you saved. It started as a tiny "PDF → Markdown" script for myself. But the more I tested, the more I realized the value wasn't the conversion — it was the cleanup and structure. That shift shaped the whole product: token-savings proof on the results page, OCR recovery for scanned/broken files, and a developer API for anyone who wants it in their pipeline.
