I built Tribunal of Ideas because every time I asked someone (or ChatGPT) to review a business idea, I got the same thing back: encouragement. Friends are too polite, co-founders are optimistic, and AI assistants are built to be agreeable. Nobody actually tells you the truth.
The first version was just one AI giving an opinion, and it felt exactly like that problem: one more voice being nice to me. So I rebuilt it as an actual trial. A prosecutor and defense (different AI models) argue it out with real web evidence, witnesses testify for and against, and a 12-model jury scores it across 9 criteria, then cross-reviews each other anonymously before a formula calculates the verdict. No single model decides anything, and you watch the whole thing live.
To prove it isn't just talk, I did the most honest thing I could: I put this very idea on trial. It scored 81 (innocent). Then I appealed, refused to hand over my traction numbers, and my own tribunal dropped me to 78, with the judge calling my defense "clever but circular." Merciless, even with its own maker. That's the point: it's built to find the holes, not to make you feel good.
