FreedomRPG is a text RPG run by an AI game master that tracks your world as real state: characters, rules, and lore persist across long campaigns instead of drifting. Bring your own rulebook, play solo, share your best moments. Runs on Claude, up to Fable 5.

Hey Product Hunt,
I built FreedomRPG because every AI game master I tried would forget my world. A a rule would subtly change, an NPC would misremember previous encounters, and after a few hours the story stopped feeling real.
Freedom's GM keeps the world as real tracked state: characters, locations, factions, rules, and lore are all maintained and retrieved as you play, so a campaign that's 40 hours deep is as consistent as hour one. You can play the built-in fantasy world, build one from scratch, or drop in your own rulebook and the GM learns it.
As of this week it runs Claude Fable 5 on its top tier, which as far as I know makes it the first AI RPG to offer Fable at all.
It's free to try (credits on signup, plus daily free credits). I'm a solo dev and I read everything, so I'd really value your take, especially if you've bounced off AI RPGs before.

How does the AI handle rulebooks that are super crunch-heavy, like Pathfinder 2e? Does it actually run the math correctly mid-combat or do you end up double-checking every roll?

@enes1079327 I haven't tried Pathfinder 2e specifically, but Mythic (running on Claude Fable) handles systems like Cyberpunk RED and GURPS fluently provided it has access to the rules. Right now that means converting them to text and pasting them in but we've got PDF upload on the roadmap in the next couple of weeks.

Finally tried it last night and the world actually remembered my side quest from three sessions ago. That alone is worth more than another dungeon crawler with shiny graphics.
