Hey PH, I’m Biplav, the solo maker behind HiBart.
I built this because I kept noticing the same thing.
People do not think or talk in neat task-app language.
We say things like:
“Gotta finish the deck tomorrow”
“remind me to send the invoice Friday”
“gym track karna”
“Tengo que hacer el seguimiento de esa reunión.”
HiBart understands messy, normal speech and sorts it into tasks, habits, meetings, alarms, and reminders.
What I’d love most from this community is blunt feedback on:
- whether the core idea is instantly understandable
- whether the mixed-language input feels natural
- whether the meeting and habit features feel genuinely useful

How well does it handle three or four languages mixed in the same sentence, like switching between English, Hindi, and Spanish mid-thought, without losing the task details?
@akat_ekin51208 Great stress test. It actually handles 3-4 languages mixing mid-sentence like a charm, that's kind of the whole point since real speech rarely sticks to one language. Try throwing something gnarly at it, genuinely curious where it breaks.
How does it handle the messy handoffs when something starts as a voice note and ends up needing to be a shared doc or calendar invite for someone else?
@toprak3bv8 It first understands your messy voice input and turns it into a clean task. From there you can delegate it, or share it so it shows up directly in someone else's list too. Calendar invite auto-generation isn't built yet, but handing it off to someone else is live today.
how does it actually handle mixed language input in practice, like if someone throws in a couple of Mandarin phrases mid-sentence does it catch those properly or mostly lean english

It is not hardcoded to specific languages, so it should pick up Mandarin phrases mid sentence rather than defaulting back to English, but I will be honest, most of my testing has been Indian languages, along with Spanish & french mixes so Mandarin is less battle tested. Would genuinely love it if you tried throwing some in and told me what breaks.
how does it actually parse mixed-language stuff like spanglish or taglish without me having to set anything up first?
@trkanalemd14052 No setup needed, it's automatic. It detects the mix on the fly per input, no toggle or language pack to select. Spanglish works well, taglish is less tested so I'd genuinely love your feedback if you try it.
Love the idea of turning rambling voice notes into something actually usable. One thing that would seal it for me: a quick weekly recap that shows which captured tasks you actually finished versus the ones that slipped, so you can spot patterns in what you keep dropping.
@nurcantayli0ey Really like this. A "what you captured vs what actually got done" recap is exactly the kind of pattern-surfacing that's missing from most task apps. Adding it to the list.
The mixed-language shorthand handling actually works in practice, which surprised me since most assistants choke on that. Reminders I blurt out during meetings land in the right slot without me cleaning them up first.
