why we built this.
We were watching Gulf-region businesses — retail shops, restaurants,
service providers — lose 30–40% of their inbound WhatsApp leads simply
because no one replied fast enough, or the reply was inconsistent,
or the sales rep didn't know the catalog well enough.
We tried existing chatbot tools. They all had the same problem: LLMs
that confidently made up prices, told customers products were available
when they weren't, and had no reliable way to actually place an order
in-chat.
So we built something different.
Sellatrix runs a fixed, ordered pipeline on every message — intent
classification → catalog lookup → slot collection → tool execution →
reply. Every step is deterministic. Product data comes from your
database, not the LLM's memory. Orders require explicit confirmation
before they're placed.
