Hi Product Hunt! 👋
I’m Michał, the architect behind Share2Verify.
Leaving a social app to manually reverse-search a suspicious image or text disrupts the entire scrolling experience. I built Share2Verify to solve this with a "Zero-Click" philosophy. When you spot propaganda or fake news, just tap "Share" and send it to the app. It opens a lightweight, translucent overlay, runs an OSINT analysis, delivers the verdict, and lets you get right back to your feed.
We recently pivoted the architecture to a pure BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) model to serve power-users, journalists, and OSINT analysts. Here is what that means:
🚫 No Subscriptions, No Ads: I hate subscription fatigue. We completely stripped AdMob and in-app purchases from the codebase. The app is a 100% free micro-utility. 🔑 Bring Your Own Key: Plug in your OpenRouter or Firecrawl API keys. The app routes requests (defaulting to Perplexity Sonar) directly from your device. You pay exact API costs with zero markup. 🔐 Absolute Privacy: No user accounts, no profiles. Because AI requests go directly from your phone to the LLM provider via our Ktor client, we don't even have a backend to store your data. 🛠 Tech Stack: Built fully native for Android using Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) and Jetpack Compose[cite: 1, 6].
Why make it completely free? Share2Verify mobile is an independent lead magnet for our upcoming desktop B2B OSINT SaaS platform.

How accurate is the deep analysis actually when it comes to AI-generated images versus just badly compressed ones, and do you show the sources it pulls from so I can judge for myself?

@muzaffer482690 Hi Muzaffer. For images, we route requests through multimodal models like Perplexity Sonar via OpenRouter. It's highly effective, but heavy compression can still cause hallucinations. Regarding sources: the mobile app surfaces the raw verdict and Google Fact Check API links. However, if you need full, transparent audit trails and source tracing, that's the core feature of our upcoming B2B SaaS workspace. Join the beta: s2v.noiselogic.io

how does the pay-as-you-go pricing actually work in practice, like is there a per-check cost or something bundled?

@nuran144240 Hi Nuran. We actually just ripped out the pay-as-you-go model entirely. The Android app is now a 100% free Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) utility. You plug in your own OpenRouter or Firecrawl API keys and pay base LLM costs directly. Zero markup from us. We did this to focus our monetization entirely on our upcoming B2B SaaS platform for professional analysts. Check out the early access at s2v.noiselogic.io.

The translucent overlay that keeps your feed visible while you verify something is such a thoughtful touch, especially for a share-menu utility where context loss usually kills the flow.

love how it just pops up over my feed without sending me into another app, makes it way easier to actually check stuff instead of promising myself i will later.

The overlay approach is genuinely clever, letting you fact-check without losing your place in a feed feels like how this should have always worked.

@didemho6q Thanks! Preserving the context and avoiding 'context loss' was our #1 UX priority. If you do this professionally, we're bringing this exact friction-free experience to desktop. We are building a 'Right-Click to Verify' browser extension connected to our new Pro workspace. Sign up for early access here: s2v.noiselogic.io.

The translucent overlay that keeps your feed in view is such a thoughtful move, especially for something as disruptive as fact-checking in the moment.
