In June 2025 I started researching ALS because I was inspired by Eric Dane's interview. I tried to research with AI but the hallucinations and fake citations and "telephone" quotes made it unsuitable for research. In 2026, I developed "Gating Semantic Drift with Veridical Enforcement Metrics" that provide a true 0% chance of mis-stated quotes, perfectly formed APA citations, and veridical (accurate) research due to the AI being forced to follow directions while using only the context provided.

I am not a medical person... I never took anatomy, dropped out of college, and basically have been a hobby coder when I can. I started ARTIFICIAL GENERAL INTELLIGENCE LLC in 2025 with the intent of building a lightweight memory module for LLMs and show that the current methods of AI "advancement", which often come at a high financial cost as well as "heat" cost to the planet, are much like the 1950s supercomputers: they are too "big" and too "hot" and never would work as a personal device - we need AI that can run low heat, small footprint, low cost... but how? When I saw Eric Dane's ALS interview in June 2025, I changed my research to ALS. All in. I thought I could help. By January 2026 I published "The Drusen Switch Model" and thought I was making a difference. Three days later I learned about thermodynamic affinities and was crushed to find that my theory, though it has some great conceptual ideas, also had obvious fundamental flaws. When I saw that the citations were bulls**t, I felt like giving up. Then, on February 19, 2026, the Dane died. I didn't know the guy other than remembering him from Grey's Anatomy way back. He DIED. But I mean what in the world just happened. I felt like I failed him but again also felt inspired to keep in the fight against ALS because there are so many others and also other diseases to unravel. I am an unpaid full time caregiver for a woman on palliative care whom I love deeply and over the past 5 years I *may* have earned $50,000 in gig work and task work. But, it gives me a lot of time and I learned a lot about AI and finally a couple of months ago solved a viable way to gate/control semantic drift (hallucinations) and implement veridical enforcement. I achieved this from a fully client side application written in Javascript. I had planned to release it to the world as a gift. But, when I asked AI about how much I could sell datasets for on Fiverr (I live in poverty and so don't blame me for thinking about it!) and the AI almost never said under $1200 and often above $5000 for the reports I was generating! WOW!!! I can make a 1200 page veridical report with 50 evaluations, half of which are adversarial and make a 20mb trace file with full reporting for FREE using Gemini free tier API!??! Is that for real!? Turns out yea it would be but then I realized that this software would make a HUGE vacuum in the demand for freelance writers, researchers, paralegals, educators, and many other areas of cognitive employment. So, I filed for a patent for it: Patent Pending U.S. Patent Application 64/084,252. I did this so that I can prevent big corporations from retroactively nullifying my idea and your access to it and also that I can make it highly penalized and infringing to use this software in any way that might displace human jobs, while also creating a unique sponsor-affiliate program (see site https://store.pathmap.org for details). But what about ALS? Well, that is why the license is a GLOBAL HUMANITARIAN PROPRIETARY LICENSE and it gives a "worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive patent and copyright license to execute, modify, and study this Software for the tangible betterment of patient care and common human needs." The software is meant to be free and so it is, and I am looking for you to help me today with the following: LET'S STRESS TEST THE ACCURACY BY COMING UP WITH FUNNY/UNIQUE PERSONAS. Well I was working 15 hours on this yesterday and I am awake now. I really need help getting this out there. In an hour or so, I am posting the software on Zenodo and will start publish results. 🙏 please help me. i think we can accelerate cures with PathMap from ALS to Long Covid, the research exists and PathMap accelerates connecting the dots.

And, again, I am looking for PH to suggest build ideas and let's have some fun testing. This version of the tool is forever free and license allows commercialization under certain conditions. You could be the first one to comment below! I will be checking back soon as I am just trying to figure how to launch. I mean I made a tool that filters hallucination from any AI it connects to in any language from anywhere... gotta be something to it!
