Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm the solo maker behind BuildGUI.
Most "Roblox GUI generators" hand you a picture you then have to rebuild by hand. That always felt backwards, so BuildGUI does the opposite: you describe a shop ("a sci-fi weapon shop, 6 items") and it generates the real, editable native GUI — actual Frames / TextButtons / UIListLayouts — plus clean Luau and a controller script that actually works: it opens with an animation, the buttons are clickable, and purchase events are stubbed and ready to wire to your economy.
It's free and needs no sign-up — paste the Luau into the command bar and the GUI drops under StarterGui. Right now it nails shop panels; inventory grids, HUDs and menus are next. Pro ($9/mo) adds a one-click .rbxmx import so the whole thing drops into Studio without the command bar.
I built this because hand-coding shop UIs ate more of my time than it should. Would love feedback from people who actually ship Roblox games — does the generated code match how you'd structure it, and which GUI pattern should I add next?
