I built YourNearEvents to solve a simple problem: finding good events nearby is often fragmented and time-consuming. People have to jump between platforms, search by category, and still miss things that match their interests.
This project started as a way to make discovery easier, but it evolved into a broader product around surfacing relevant events quickly and clearly. The more I worked on it, the more I focused on usability, relevance, and making the experience feel simple instead of overwhelming.
