Why I built it
Most interview prep is broken in the same three ways:
It is passive. You read a list of "top 50 behavioral questions" and convince yourself you've prepared. You haven't. Reading is not rehearsing.
It is generic. A PM interview at McKinsey is nothing like a PM interview at Shopify. A new-grad SWE round is nothing like a Staff loop. Most tools ignore that completely.
The feedback is polite. Your friends, your partner, even paid coaches will soften the truth. Real interviewers don't. They write blunt, two-line verdicts in their notepad and move on.

How it works (in 60 seconds)
Choose your practice mode. Pick a generic role (PM, SWE, UX, Consultant, Analyst, and 40+ more) for fast practice. Or go deeper with Custom Prep: paste a real job description and upload your resume, and the AI generates 5 fresh STAR questions tailored to that exact role and your background.
Pick your stage. Recruiter screen, hiring manager, technical, behavioral panel, or final round β the AI adjusts depth, tone, and follow-up intensity to match.
Answer out loud. Speak naturally. We transcribe in real time and run a full mock loop of 5 to 7 questions, just like a real interview.
Get your scorecard. A hiring likelihood score, per-answer STAR breakdown (Clarity, Structure, Impact, Conciseness), color-coded transcript, the Interviewer's Secret Notes, and an AI-generated model answer for every question so you can see the gap between you and a top candidate.

The five things that make it different
1. Voice-first, not type-first
Interviews are spoken. So is the practice. You talk, we transcribe, and the scoring grades the way you actually communicate under pressure β pacing, structure, filler, the works. No more typing perfect-looking answers you would never actually deliver.
2. STAR scoring that is brutally specific
Every answer is graded on Clarity, Structure, Impact, and Conciseness. The transcript is color-coded by STAR component (Situation, Task, Action, Result), so you can see exactly where you skipped the Result, buried the Action, or rambled through the Situation. Most candidates discover, in one session, that they have been silently dropping the most important part of every answer for years.
3. The Interviewer's Secret Notes
This is the feature people screenshot. After every answer, you get the unfiltered, candid feedback an interviewer would have written in their notepad β the stuff they would never say to your face. "Vague impact, no numbers, lost interest by minute two." It stings. That is the point. You finally know what they are really thinking.
4. Custom Prep with your real JD and resume
Paste any job description, upload your resume, and the AI generates 5 fresh questions that mirror what that specific company and role would actually ask. Candidates regularly tell us their interviewer asked one or two of the generated questions word for word.
