Hello PH Family,
I got tired of the all of these steps just to access & view FDIC published data (which is freely available)
(a) download csv files from the FDIC website
(b) ensure I got the data columns right (ex: DEP vs DEPDOM, LNRE vs LNCRCD)
(c) upload the csv to excel or claude just to get a simple table, line graph or bar graphs.
Instead of going through this again and again, I built https://bankstatz.com/ . It is essentially ChatGPT for FDIC data. A simple chat based interface that serves the FDIC published information in simple tables and charts.
