Hey PH! 👋 I built reddit-skills because I was tired of Reddit API limitations and OAuth headaches when trying to automate things with AI agents. The idea is simple: instead of going through the API, why not let the AI agent control your actual browser? A Chrome extension acts as a bridge between the agent and your Reddit session — no API keys, no rate limit worries, just your normal browsing session. The hardest part was dealing with Reddit's modern UI — they use web components (shreddit-post, shreddit-comment) with Shadow DOMs everywhere. Getting text input to work properly in their contenteditable fields required dispatching focus events and using execCommand character by character. It works with Claude Code, Cursor, OpenClaw, or any tool that supports the SKILL.md standard. The whole thing is MIT licensed.
