We're the founders behind BasaltAI, and when we started using OpenClaw 2mo ago, it changed the way we work.
Claw was amazing because it added memory.md and started remembering things... so we took this a step further: We created a company wiki that updated with every new call, allowing AI Agents like Claw or Claude Code to navigate through all of our data.
Each company or person cited in a transcript became a link to a specific record, and Agents could access any data with 1-2 hops.
This became the company brain, and it completely changed the way we worked.
We quickly realised that Claude knew our company better than we did, and became more proficient at coding, GTM and any day to day task.
So we decided to open-source this.
There are tons of knowledge graphs, but the only way to make this truly work is to have all the knowledge locally. On your computer, so that Claude Code or Claw can access it instantly. And to have that knowledge sync between devices through git.
When we saw Karpathy twee about this yesterday, we felt like the timing was right to release the Kraken.
