Hi Product Hunt! I’m Joseph from Qwady. I built ThornGuard after running into the same problem over and over: local MCPs worked, but the setup around them was messy. Too many pasted secrets, weak auth, and very little visibility once requests left the client. ThornGuard sits in front of that path. It gives you a cleaner way to launch MCP connections, plus per-instance authentication, request inspection, redaction, and audit logs without asking you to rewrite the upstream server. It works for both MCP clients and MCP services you run yourself. I’d especially love feedback on the setup story, the docs, and whether the page makes the use case clear.
