MarioHR sits on top of your ATS (Greenhouse, Ashby, etc.) and runs structured technical assessments. Candidates work in their own IDE, with their own tools and AI assistants, on real codebases, not online sandboxes. Structured reports flow straight back into your ATS, with no context-switching. You can also BYOQ and BYOP, "bring your own questions" to the interviews and "bring your own prompts" to highlight the portions of code or video that you are interested in watching.

Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I'm Charly. Over the years, I’ve conducted or reviewed ~12,000 technical interviews, and the process is still broken. CVs are a weak signal, and both recruiters and engineers waste hours on candidates who aren’t a fit, while missing out on strong candidates simply because there isn’t enough time to interview everyone.
So I built MarioHR. It plugs directly into your ATS and handles the technical assessment layer. Candidates get a realistic task in a real codebase, work in their own environment with whatever tools they’d normally use (including AI), and narrate their reasoning as they go.
Your team gets a structured report directly in your ATS before anyone even opens a calendar invite.
What makes it different:
→ ATS-first: lives inside Greenhouse, Ashby, etc.
→ Realistic work, real tools: no whiteboards, no LeetCode, no sandboxes.
→ Captures thinking, not just output: these days, producing code is a commodity. Producing production-ready code and having clear thoughts and opinions about it is what we look for when hiring developers.
→ Candidates can complete the exercise anytime, day or night, including weekends.
→ Engineers can review the code and watch the video anytime, at any speed they like. And yes, engineers love async, splittable tasks much more than live calls.
I'm onboarding design partners and the second batch of corporate users. The first 100 get 100 free interviews to get started and test the platform.
