Local AI on mobile is exciting, but actually getting it to work inside an app is still pretty painful.
When I tried it myself, most of the effort wasn’t building features, it was dealing with native code, model setup, and getting everything to work across Android versions.
So I built 1nm to simplify that.
The goal is simple:
→ add a package
→ write a few lines of code
→ run an LLM locally inside your app
No APIs, no cloud, no usage costs, everything runs on-device.
The Flutter plugin (Android) is live now, and I’m planning to expand this to more languages and platforms (Kotlin, iOS, etc.) so it becomes a more complete ecosystem for on-device AI.
