thewish is a reflection app where people can share a wish, receive a short poem, and explore how wishes connect across the world through a living globe and emerging themes. Karma Flow is now in preview, letting people share acts of kindness and connect them to similar wishes.

Hey Product Hunt, I’m the maker of thewish.
I built thewish because I believe there’s something powerful in the simple act of making a wish.
We all make wishes, for love, for safety, for meaning, for peace. Underneath all the different words, so many of us are hoping for similar things. That’s part of why I called it the wish.
You share a wish, and AI turns it into a short poem just for you. Your wish then appears on a living globe alongside wishes from people around the world. Over time, shared themes emerge. This week, it’s peace, harmony, and fearlessness.
There’s also Karma Flow, where people share small acts of kindness and see them ripple alongside others’ wishes.
Where I want to take this next: I’m curious whether AI can learn from what people genuinely hope for, and find small, unexpected ways to help those hopes move forward. That part is still being built, but it’s the direction behind everything here.
And maybe, just maybe, the more wishes people share openly, the more likely it is that AI, as it learns from the world, will learn from our hopes too, not just our clicks.
I’d love to hear what you think, or what you’d wish for.
