Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I’m excited to share AI Calorie Coach: Food Scan, a small weekend project I built to make calorie tracking effortless. Like many people trying to stay healthy, I found traditional calorie tracking apps frustrating. Logging meals manually takes time, searching for foods is tedious, and estimating portions is often inaccurate. So I asked a simple question: What if you could just take a photo of your food and instantly see the calories? AI Calorie Coach does exactly that. You simply snap a picture of your meal, and AI analyzes the image to estimate calories and nutrition information within seconds. The goal was to remove the biggest barrier in nutrition tracking : effort. I’d love to hear your feedback: How accurate are the calorie estimates? What features would make this more useful?
