Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I’m Tal, and I built Jobstocks.ai with my childhood best friend, Eden. Eden runs a recruiting agency and pitched me an idea: what if we tracked the daily open roles at major companies to spot market trends before earnings calls? We started with a Python scraper and found wild signals. For example, we watched Amazon’s job postings tank weeks before they announced AI-driven layoffs, and the stock popped. We caught similar early divergences across the Tech, Pharma, and Retail industries. After a handful of signals, we decided to build Jobstocks.ai. A web platform that tracks and compares hiring to stock prices and market caps, visualizes the data, and uses AI agents to interpret our data alongside real-time news headlines and financial reports. We discovered early on that we're far from the first ones doing this. But we also saw that the majority of alternative data belongs to the B2B world and is priced as such. So we spent the last 8 months building a tool to give retail traders that same institutional edge for just a few $ a month.
