Hey everyone! I'm Arjun, I built this thing solo. The idea started because I'd open my news app every morning, get depressed in 30 seconds, and close it. I still wanted to know what was going on in the world, I just didn't want to hate my morning over it. So I built TheDailyPoop. It takes 25 real stories from business, tech, politics, culture, sports, and world news, and rewrites them so they're actually fun to read. Every story ends with "The Bottom Line" which is basically what everyone is thinking but no one will say out loud. Some examples from today: "Nvidia Made $68B in a Quarter and Your Job Now Works for Jensen" "337 AI friends launched because therapy costs money and VC needs exits" "Block fired more humans to make room for the robot interns" There's also 6 daily games based on the news. My favorite is Poop or Scoop where you guess if a headline is real or fake. It's surprisingly hard. The whole thing runs on AI but the voice took forever to get right. The default AI tone is corporate and safe. Getting it to be genuinely funny without crossing into mean took weeks of prompt work. Free to read, no account needed.
