Most trackers tell you how your portfolio performed. Firefly tells you if you'll reach Financial Independence. Set your Endgame target. Firefly builds a daily forecast from your real returns and contribution rate - not generic assumptions. Modified Dietz TWR, calculated daily. Multi-currency FX. Automatic split handling. Subscription-funded. Privacy-first. Built for people serious about Financial Independence.

Hi PH, Max here.
I tracked my progress towards my financial goals in a spreadsheet for years. Nothing fancy. I'd update it manually every month, punch in the numbers, and try to eyeball whether I was on track or not. It worked, but the manual updates and difficulty to maintain was wearing me down.
I tried Yahoo Finance for a while because at least it updated in real time. But it's buggy, and I'm not comfortable handing over my full financial picture to an ad-funded platform.
The bigger problem was that nothing out there answered the one question I actually cared about: am I going to make it, and when? Every tool wanted to show me portfolio performance or daily P&L. I didn't care about beating the S&P. I wanted to know if my savings rate plus my returns plus my timeline actually added up to freedom.
So I built Firefly around that single question. You set your target number, and the Endgame engine projects when you'll hit it, using your real returns and contribution history instead of some generic 7% assumption.
What's under the hood: daily time-weighted returns (Modified Dietz), automatic FX and stock split handling, multi-currency support. What you actually see: one clear answer. Look at it daily as a gentle reminder that you need to keep grinding, or just update it when you transact. It's here to keep you on track.
It's still early. Features are being finalized and there's more coming. But the core engine is live and I'd really love honest feedback. What's missing? What would make you open this every week / every transaction?
Use PH30OFF for 30% off for 6 months (it works for the lifetime deal too) if you want to give it a spin.
Thanks for checking it out.
