Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Paolo, the solo dev behind AI Scribe. The frustration that started it: every AI transcription app out there routes your audio through their servers. I wanted something where you stay in control — either your audio goes to Google directly via your own API key (not through me), or it never leaves your phone at all. The hard part was running Gemma 3n on long audio files without crashing the RAM. Solved it with a sequential chunking algorithm: the audio is split into segments, each transcribed separately, then Gemma reassembles the full transcript in a final pass — and translates it if needed.
