Why we built this: Agent-to-agent payments are unsolved. Credit cards need KYC. Stripe needs a human. On-chain crypto is too slow for micropayments. Lightning fixes all three — sub-cent fees, instant settlement, fully programmable. We think this is the payment rail for autonomous agents.
