Elara’s launch is different because it’s chat-first and wardrobe-first. Instead of browsing feeds or catalogs, users talk to Elara, which recommends complete, context-aware outfits using their real wardrobe. It learns from daily interactions via session history and feedback, and enables intentional shopping only when there’s a genuine gap.

@mehul_agarwal23Hey Mehul! Love the focus on decision fatigue vs. discovery, that's exactly the problem. I've definitely stood in front of my closet way too long with nothing to wear.
Your launch video looks great, really clear and well done. Curious how Elara learns what's in someone's wardrobe, is it photos, manual entry, or something else?
Waiting for launch day! 🎉
@marcelo_farr Hey! Thanks so much, really appreciate the kind words (and yes, the closet-stare is painfully real 😅).
Re: how Elara learns your wardrobe: right now it’s primarily photos (single and bulk uploads). You upload images of your pieces and Elara analyzes them to understand things like category, color, pattern, and styling attributes so it can generate outfits and recommendations that actually match what you own.
We’re also working on making the upload flow even faster (including better link upload and a smoother “add items” experience), and I’d love to hear what would feel easiest for you.
Thanks again, excited to have you with us for launch day 🎉

As someone who built a lot of the UI from the ground up, I can say the design decisions we made were never arbitrary, every interaction was questioned and refined.
The chat-first interface strips away the noise you see in typical fashion apps. No overwhelming grids, no endless scrolling instead just a clean, conversational flow that feels more like texting a stylish friend than using software. We leaned heavily into micro-interactions: the way outfit cards animate in, how the wardrobe gallery responds to touch, the subtle feedback states that make the experience feel alive.
On the UX side, the wardrobe upload flow was one of the hardest problems to get right. We went through several iterations to make bulk photo uploads feel effortless because if adding clothes to your wardrobe feels like a chore, the whole experience falls apart. Getting that friction down was a quiet obsession for us.
Can't wait to see how real users interact with what we built. This is just the beginning 🚀
I genuinely love how intuitive the app feels. I’ve been using it for a while, and it’s made deciding what to wear so much easier. Being able to work with my existing wardrobe is honestly my favorite part.
@ashwin_vishwanathan Thank you so much for the appreciation. We strive to make a product that makes our users life easy, glad we are able to do that!
I have been using the app since it launched for early access few weeks ago. It’s really helpful to decide a quick outfit and definitely something I can see using on a frequent basis. I really love the concept of having a quick scan through my wardrobe using my phone!
Elara has honestly changed the way I look at my wardrobe. It removes the stress of deciding what to wear while still letting me be creative. I love how it works with what I already own and makes my outfits feel fresh again. It’s made me feel so much more confident. You can really see the intention behind it. Can’t wait more for launch day🎉.
We’re officially live! 🥂 Building Elara has been a journey of obsessing over one thing: removing the friction from our daily routines. I’m incredibly proud of the team for the late nights spent making this experience feel both smart and seamless.
I’d love for you to try it out and share your honest feedback. Let’s redefine how we interact with our wardrobes, one outfit at a time.
this is so cool, love using it to decide my daily fits! it helps me with the paradox of choice and i've started using my wardrobe way more efficiently now :)
