Grangou is designed for people who want to meet in real life, not spend weeks texting plans that never happen. You set your budget, dietary needs, and availability. We handle the logistics, matching you 1:1 or in small groups and picking a nearby restaurant that works for everyone. Once everyone confirms, the plan is locked. No endless messaging. No flaking. No awkward “are we still on?” texts. Just good food, real conversations, and new people to meet offline.

Hi Product Hunt!
I’m Swaraj, one of the makers behind Grangou.
Grangou is for people who want to meet in real life but are tired of social apps that stop at conversation. We built Grangou because we kept seeing how often plans die before they ever happen and we wanted a better way for people to actually meet in real life.
It’s resonated most with students, people new to a city, and anyone who wants a low-pressure way to share a meal without weeks of planning or awkward coordination.
Grangou adds just enough structure to turn plans into an actual meetup with people who’ve all committed.
Here's how we make it happen:
We match you 1:1 or in small groups based on dietary needs, budget, and availability.
We suggest the restaurant and time. No more "where do you want to go?" back-and-forth.
Once everyone confirms, the plan is set. It’s designed for real-life action, not endless digital scrolling.
We’re early and actively shaping this with our users. If you try it, we’d love feedback on what feels natural, what doesn’t, and what would make you come back and use it again next week.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I’m Emini, one of the people behind Grangou.
Grangou started from a frustrating problem: I kept making plans that never actually happened. Group chats dragged on, dates stalled, “we should hang” turned into nothing, and eating alone started to feel way more common than it should.
So we built Grangou around a single idea: plans shouldn’t be optional once everyone agrees.
Hey Product Hunt! I’m Arshnoor, one of the founders of Grangou.
Grangou matches you to eat at a nearby restaurant with people who like the same food — so you go from opening the app to actually sitting at a table together.
While building it, we realized something unexpected: discovery isn’t the hard part anymore: follow-through is. Most social products fail in the space between “this sounds nice” and actually showing up.
If you’ve ever tried meeting new people in a new city, where did it usually break down for you?
