I'm the maker of PromptNest, and I'm thrilled to finally launch here.
Why I built this: Like many of you, I use AI assistants daily. And like many of you, I kept losing my best prompts. They'd disappear into chat histories, get buried in random notes, or I'd just forget how I worded something that worked perfectly last week.
I tried everything—Notion databases, Apple Notes, a messy Google Doc. Nothing felt right. I wanted something simple: a dedicated place for prompts that lets me find them fast, copy them instantly, and reuse them without forgetting to change the details.
So I built PromptNest.
A few things I'm proud of:
Variables — Add {{client_name}} or {{topic}} or {{country:Ukraine|Germany|Spain}} to any prompt. When you copy, it asks you to fill in the blanks. No more "Dear [NAME]" accidents.
Quick Search — Global shortcut (Cmd+Option+P) lets you search and copy prompts without leaving whatever app you're in.
File-based storage — Your prompts are just .md files on your computer. No lock-in, no cloud dependency, fully yours.
