Hey everyone, Bailey & Gavin here 👋 GEO Ready started because our own traffic suddenly fell off a cliff. SEO was still solid, ads were running, but AI assistants weren’t recommending us. We realized something most businesses don’t see yet: AI doesn’t read websites the way Google does. When we dug deeper, we found huge parts of our site weren’t crawlable or interpretable by LLMs. That’s when it clicked, visibility now requires both SEO (for traditional search) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) for AI-driven discovery. We built GEO Ready to help businesses understand how AI reads their site, where crawlability breaks, and what content models actually use when recommending a business. Along the way, the product evolved from a simple visibility scanner into a full AI-readability assessment with structure checks, semantic scoring, and competitor benchmarks.
