Octoparse AI is a lightweight no-code RPA tool that lets teams build drag-and-drop automation workflow for websites and desktop apps. The AI Copilot generates a runnable workflow in minutes, so non-technical users automate complex tasks fast. No dragging. No writing. Just describe your task and let AI build the RPA bot for you. Core features are permanently free, making powerful automation accessible to everyone.

Hey Product Hunt folks👋
This is Lyndsay, the product manager of Octoparse AI. My team and I have always firmly believed that RPA holds significant market value and deserves greater adoption and attention. To lower the barrier to entry for RPA, we developed Octoparse AI Copilot. By integrating large AI models, users can now swiftly create RPA robots through natural language conversations.
🧠 So, what is Octoparse AI?
Octoparse AI is an end-to-end RPA bot builder that lets you build automation workflows without coding. Using a visual drag-and-drop interface, you can automate both web and desktop apps, even when there’s no API available. It handles real-world automation such as data extraction, form-filling, Excel/file processing, and cross-application workflows.
Think of it as your universal automation toolkit, designed for anyone who wants to work faster and skip repetitive work.
Here’s the thing: RPA is awesome, but building workflows has always been kind of painful. It’s slow, technical, and a lot of people get stuck. We thought: what if you could just say what you want, and AI does the rest?
🤖 Introducing AI Copilot — our AI-powered workflow builder
That’s exactly what AI Copilot does. Tell it a task in plain English, and boom — a ready-to-run workflow appears. No dragging, no coding, no starting from scratch. Think of it like 3D printing… but for automation.
✨Highlights of Octoparse AI Copilot
1. Zero-barrier creation — Describe what you want, get a runnable workflow
2. Human-in-the-loop — Chat with AI Copilot to tweak or refine the workflow before it’s finalized
3. 10×+ productivity boost — Complex flows generated in minutes
4. Covers real-world scenarios — Web automation, Excel, data processing, file operations, databases, and more
5. Automatic trial run — Every flow is test-run after generation to ensure it works
Tasks that used to take a full day can now often be done in 3 minutes — with you in control every step of the way.
We’re live on PH today, give Octoparse AI a try and tell us what you think! Can’t wait to hear your feedback.

Congratulations on the launch. The interface of this software is very clean and simple. Honestly, I don't tend to spend a lot of time learning a new product, so the AI functionality will be my primary focus. Compared to established RPA products on the market (such as n8n and UiPath), how does Octoparse AI Copilot differ from n8n's AI Workflow Builder?
@haoran_huo Thank you for your congratulations! We’re glad to hear you appreciate the clean and simple interface.
Regarding your question, Octoparse AI Copilot and n8n's AI Workflow Builder are quite different in terms of functionality and focus. Octoparse AI Copilot is all about simplifying UI automation—tasks like web clicks, data extraction, and handling tables, which are typically "manual" actions. You just describe the task in natural language, and the AI generates a workflow that’s ready to run.
On the other hand, n8n’s AI Builder is more focused on creating node-based workflows, with a heavy emphasis on integrating APIs, services, and logic control (think Sheets, Slack, Webhooks, databases). It’s super flexible but does require a bit of automation know-how to set up.
So, if you're looking for something more straightforward and focused on automating user interface tasks without needing to dive into complex integrations, Octoparse AI Copilot might be a better fit for you. Hope that helps clarify the differences!
Super exciting launch – congrats to the team! 🎉
I really like the direction you’re taking with “describe the task, get a runnable workflow,” especially for folks who find traditional RPA tools too technical or time‑consuming to learn. The idea that AI Copilot can turn a plain‑English description into an end‑to‑end, test‑run automation (including web, desktop, Excel, files, and databases) is a huge productivity unlock for non-technical users.
A few things that stand out to me:
Zero-friction creation: No dragging, no coding, just natural language to bot.
Human-in-the-loop refinement: Being able to chat with the Copilot to adjust the workflow before finalizing feels critical for real-world reliability.
Automatic trial runs: Auto test-runs after generation show you’re thinking about trust and robustness, not just speed.
I also appreciate that core features are permanently free, which should make RPA accessible to teams that would never have budget or engineering time for tools like UiPath or more dev-focused alternatives.
A couple of questions/curiosities:
How does the AI Copilot handle ambiguous instructions? Do you prompt users for clarification, or does it generate multiple workflow variants to choose from?
For complex, cross-app workflows (e.g., “scrape data from a web app, clean it in Excel, then push to a database”), how transparent is the generated workflow? Can users easily inspect and edit individual steps if/when something breaks?
As the product matures, I’d be especially interested in:
Versioning + rollback of AI-generated workflows
Sharing templates or “public bots” with the community
Eventually, a cloud execution layer so macOS/Linux users can design in the browser and run bots remotely, given that you’re currently Windows-only.
Overall, this feels like a very timely step toward “RPA for everyone,” and I’m looking forward to seeing how far natural-language-first automation can go. 🚀
@jocky Hey jocky, thank you so much for your words.
About the questions you mentioned:
prompt users for clarification
The generated workflow includes concise comments explaining what each part does. When an error occurs, it provides guidance on how to fix it.
We are trying to make the copilot more stable and in the nearly future it will be able to fix workflow and do more than just drafting workflow.
Incredible
OK, absolutely going to try this!! ⭐️
Incredible
I have macOS, cant you guys host the Windows Os, and I can run RPAs on your servers? :)
@flundberg_at_incredible Good question Fredric, right now we only support Windows system, and we are working on more like macOS and Linux. We will let you know once it is available in the future.
