Hi everyone — I’m Darshil, the solo founder of DataSetIQ. I built this because working with public economic and financial datasets has always been painful. Everything is scattered across FRED, IMF, World Bank, ECB, OECD, and dozens of national sources. Searching for the right series takes forever, and extracting useful insights is even slower. I wanted a tool that made macro research feel instant — something that gives analysts and data teams the speed and clarity usually reserved for $30k–$50k terminals. So I built DataSetIQ: • Millions of global macro & financial datasets in one place • AI-powered advanced research briefs (metadata + real observations) • Trend and cycle detection • Surprise vs consensus logic • Update alerts • Clean workflow for analysts and research teams It took a lot of iteration to get the insight engine right, especially balancing metadata-only summaries with “observation-aware” advanced analysis.
