What do you think? …

Sahitya Pasnoor
Hey Product Hunt! I built Markdown Studio because I noticed something: we're all writing more markdown than ever — but not for READMEs anymore. We're writing prompts. System instructions. Context dumps for Claude and ChatGPT. RAG documents. API documentation that LLMs will consume. The problem? Traditional markdown editors weren't built for this: - "Will this fit in GPT-4's context window?" (No idea) - "How many tokens is my system prompt?" (Copy to tokenizer, paste back, repeat) - "Did I lose that perfect prompt version from yesterday?" (Yes) So I built what I needed: → Token counter that updates as you type (GPT-4, Claude, all models) → Version history that auto-saves every 5 minutes → Copy button that strips formatting for clean AI input → Templates for code reviews, bug reports, chain-of-thought prompts And because prompts often contain sensitive data — API keys, internal docs, proprietary logic — everything stays in your browser. No accounts. No cloud. No tracking. What's your markdown + AI workflow? Building features based on real use cases!
boring day

very nice, bro!

is there anyway to integrate with personal AI model?

Sahitya Pasnoor

@boring_day I have that feature in pipeline model. That would be great feature to enhance writing.

Lilou Lane

This is brilliant!
As prompt size, structure, and context windows become more important, tools like this will be essential.
How are you thinking about collaboration or team workflows in the future?

Sahitya Pasnoor

@lliloulane Exposing this editing to team/collaboration goes against core privacy of the editor. There are other ways we can accomplish that. Would like to get more feedback on this from you. Would you be open to schedule a meeting?

Marcos Sei

I would love to use this editor inside my agent builder. Do you have plans to open source?

Sahitya Pasnoor

@marcos_sei Would love to make it open source. Do you mind sharing what you are look todo? I'd love to connect.
