Hi everyone,

I'm Anthony, the founder of TrustCheck AI.

TrustCheck AI began after a member of my family was scammed. It happened fast, and once the money was gone, getting it back was almost impossible. That experience made something crystal clear: people need an easy way to check suspicious content so they don’t get caught up in a scam, and suffer the financial and emotional pain that comes with it.

In 2024, scammers stole $1.03 trillion globally, and according to the Global Anti-Scam Alliance and Feedzai, only 4% of victims were able to fully recover their money. These numbers are staggering, but they aren't just statistics - this is about people.

I didn’t have a tech background and taught myself by diving head-first into AI, learning tool by tool, breaking things, fixing things, and slowly figuring out how to build something simple, fast, and helpful. It was a long mix of late nights, testing, frustration, and hair-pulling, but the mission kept me going.

During development, I encountered an unforeseen challenge: users were confusing us with other services bearing the "TrustCheck" name. This compelled me to reinforce the "AI" distinction. TrustCheck AI is an entirely autonomous product, engineered from the ground up with a singular mission to empower individuals in authenticating suspicious content and preventing scams.

How it works: Users can upload a screen, an image, or paste a message into the TrustCheck AI app. Every scan gives you a clear Low, Medium, or High risk rating with plain-language explanations and practical recommendations.
