What do you think? …

Marvin Tong

Hey Product Hunt! 👋

I'm Marvin, founder of Redpill. We're a small, privacy-obsessed team building the VPN for AI privacy — and I’m thrilled to finally share what we’ve been working on.

💡 Why did we build this?

We built Redpill out of frustration with how every AI interaction today leaks data — to the model provider, the infrastructure host, or both. AI tools have become essential, but the moment you use them, you lose control of your data.

As engineers and crypto builders, we knew that privacy shouldn’t rely on “trust us.” So we set out to build a platform where AI privacy is verifiable, not promised.

🧠 What makes Redpill unique?

Redpill is the first private-first AI platform that runs all workloads in secure hardware (TEE) — meaning every AI query comes with cryptographic proof that your data stays private.

We support 200+ popular models, all protected by a TEE proxy. So you can use the tools you love — GPT, Claude, Gemini, and more — inside a verifiably private environment, through our encrypted chat, SDK, and API.

@charlenechen_123 Thank you!

Congrats on the launch! Quick question: AI providers usually promise not to use user data for training if you’re on a paid plan. How does it work with RedPill? Can people use AI for personal projects on the free plan with it?

@mskatecheng Thanks, good question. With RedPill, everything runs inside a secure TEE environment, so your inputs and outputs are isolated at the hardware level. No one outside, not even the cloud provider can access them.

Other providers usually mention in their terms that they don’t store or see your data, but in our case, the TEE setup makes that technically impossible. You can use it for personal projects, even on the free plan, and pricing is based on token usage.
