The backstory: I've always been fascinated by historical figures and their perspectives. Traditional history books give us facts, but what if we could have actual conversations with these brilliant minds? That's where Digital Ghost comes in. What makes it special: Each spirit has a unique personality based on extensive historical research They respond in any language (yes, Confucius will chat with you in English, Chinese, or even Hebrew!) The "Temporal Anchor" feature lets you choose whether they know only their historical period or can discuss modern topics You can collaborate with them to create original works - get Shakespeare to help with your wedding vows or Einstein to explain your physics homework Technical notes for fellow builders: Built with React, Firebase, and Gemini AI. The app generates authentic historical portraits and maintains conversation context. It's a PWA so it works seamlessly on mobile.
