ImgProcessor.net removes backgrounds from images and works especially well for portraits, preserving the finest hair details and decontaminating colour influence coming from the background. Works online and via API. Free plan can process images up to 1920px!
The idea came into my mind as some time ago I was playing with another idea, to transform images of people or objects into AI-animated videos, for which I needed nice cut-outs of the subjects, easier said than done if you subjects had hair.
So having seen there some other web services that do background removal, I realized that although there is competition, there has to be demand too for this, and to be honest the other competitors seem quite expensive and I knew I could do more.
I spent a lot of time to make ImgProcessor produce the best possible results, especially when it comes to subjects having hair or fur (which is notoriously difficult to isolate from the background and to reduce background colour influence on it - something that my app can do much better than others!).
We've just made the first improvement sincce we launched. https://imgprocessor.net not only removes backgounds from images with attention to complex subject features such as hair or fur but also neutralizes external colours reflected onto the subject. Photographers who use ImgProcessor are impressed by the quality of the final result. A fluffy dog in shallow depth sitting on a bright yellow background is difficult to remove, but ImgProcessor makes it easy, it only takes one click!
