Atai (pronounced "ah-tay") uses Vision AI to write your tests so quality can finally keep up with velocity. Let's be real, writing automated tests is a pain. It's a lot of work and it takes time away from doing what you really love: literally anything else.

After so many of my clients were having to deal with buggy software, I started researching options to increase automated front-end testing coverage.

Our goal was to get 80% coverage so we could start to enjoy what I call; boring releases.

No emergencies, no fire drills, no disappointed or angry customers.

I didn't find any great options.

* Coding puppeteer or playwright directly took too long.
* Recorder based options were too tedious and prone to breaking because of UI changes.
* The AI options were waaaaay too expensive and the ones that had a free trial could not even build 1 test.

Desperate for a way to reach the ever illusive 80% automated coverage, I decided the only option was to build something myself.

Introducing Atai

* Use Vision AI to write your automated tests
* Gracefully handle UI/UX changes
* Reuse variables and user account information for deterministic tests
* Token cost passthrough to keep things "at-cost"
* Pay one time for downloadable app (like the good 'ole days).
* Access to source code and developer documentation so anyone can add features!
