I'm Holt, product manager of Lumi. I'm incredibly excited (and a little nervous!) to share with you what we've been building.
Like many of you, our team have been blown away by the recent wave of AI-powered "vibe coding" tools. They're magical! But after the initial "wow" moment, we consistently hit a wall. While they were fantastic at creating beautiful webpages, they often left non-technical users stranded when it came to the real stuff: backend logic, user accounts, and databases. An idea is more than just a pretty landing page.
Our mission is simple: to empower anyone with a creative idea to build a fully functional web app, just by talking.

In fact, non-English users account for a quite significant proportion of our user base — even more surprisingly, their paid conversion rate is even higher. We are delighted to see that non-English users have shown remarkable satisfaction with our product.
Not only can users communicate with Lumi in various languages, but we have also made internationalization adaptations for the content on pages, UI interfaces, and functional text across the platform, aiming to better support the usage experience of non-English speakers.

Most AI site builders I’ve seen only get you a landing page and then you’re stuck. I like that Lumi goes further with things like login, database, and storage. That actually makes it useful for turning an idea into a real product.
Honestly looking for a AI tool to build my community website... just curious - am I able to have some advanced/fancy design using this tool or I have to follow some of the templates?
@cruise_chen Hello! Lumi has a high benchmark level in terms of page aesthetics. Even if you don't provide any prompts related to style, it can still generate sufficiently good-looking pages. Of course, we also offer a wealth of options in the Style Library for your reference and use.
This is super impressive, Turning a raw idea into a working app through chat feels like a huge unlock. Curious, are most people using Lumi for personal side projects, or are you seeing teams build full-on production apps with it?
Actually we won't and can't see our users' projects (until they authorize it in our customer service when they encounter problems) or collect our users' information, so we cannot give an accurate answer to your question.
Currently, Lumi does not yet offer team collaboration features. However, we have noticed that many users have been continuously purchasing additional Credits or buying a large number of Credits at once. We can reasonably guess that many users have already been using it as a team productivity tool.
