Briefs, faces, graphs

gm legends

Today: an app that shuts up for your whole client call until it has a reason not to, an AI face that wants you to interrupt it, and a codebase graph that started out as somebody's side project.

Hot on the leaderboard today —
That's a lot of stars
  • Savvy — An assistant that whispers what to say during a meeting

Savvy is a Mac app that reads the folder of documents you keep for a client and then shuts up for the whole call. It only says something if your own brief contradicts what was just said, if someone crosses a line you set beforehand, or if you press the button. Jaume Alavedra built it because whatever he needed mid-call was usually buried in something he'd already read twice, and every card it puts up cites the page, so you can check it before you say it out loud, and he's put the whole thing on GitHub under MIT.

  • Wispr Flow — Are you really still typing?

Wispr Flow is the AI dictation tool most of us at Product Hunt. Hold a key, talk, and clean text drops straight into whatever app you're already in — Slack, email, Notion, your IDE, wherever your cursor lives. No switching windows. No copy-paste ritual. Just say the thing – yes, you can whisper it – and even your most run-on sentences will be turned into polished writing at 4x the speed of typing.

  • Ojin — Talk to an AI Agent with a real face and voice, in real time

Ojin turns one still photo into a face you can talk to, and the talking is where nearly all the work went. Specifically turn-taking: whether you've finished your sentence or you're just thinking. Mio tried on-device voice detection, cloud detection, ai-coustics and Deepgram and none of them held up on their own, so Ojin runs all four at once, and he'd rather you interrupted it, talked over it and put on a silly accent than sat there watching a demo.

  • GitNexus (Akon Labs) — The open-source kernel for coding agents

GitNexus builds one graph of your entire codebase, every function and every call between them, so an agent that wants to know who calls this function gets a straight answer back and not a shortlist of maybes. Subham Kundu's building a company on it at Akon Labs. The engine's been on GitHub since last August, put up by a CS student who describes himself as someone who likes digging into the guts of systems, and it's on 45,824 stars now and plugs into Claude Code over MCP.
