A game you win by waiting

gm legends, happy Thursday.

A code reviewer that actually opens your app, the Starlink dashboard Starlink deleted, and a game where the only thing you do is wait. Plus the retry problem nobody selling credits has solved.

Code review with receipts

Ito reviews your pull request by running it. It builds the app in a single-use container with real credentials and seed data, drives it with a swarm of agents that click, navigate and hit the database, then posts video, logs and screenshots on the PR. Catches the stuff static analysis never sees: concurrency, failed migrations, broken auth.

🔥 Our Take: Evan spent four years in fintech and cryptography, where one mistake costs tens of millions, and he'd met a few of the people it happened to. So Ito doesn't read your diff and make an educated guess, it logs in and goes clicking. Every other AI reviewer is still staring at text hoping the bug is visible from there.

Starlink gets a desktop

Dishylink is a desktop app for your Starlink that reads the dish and router straight off your own network. Live throughput and latency, alignment in exact degrees when you're off target, a 3D view of which satellite you're actually on, obstruction time lapse, per-device usage and power draw. Free, open source, no account, macOS, Windows and browser.

🔥 Our Take: Starlink quietly killed its web portal in 2024 and never replaced it, so checking your own dish has meant getting up and finding your phone. David had three years of that, got fed up, and built the replacement in two weeks. It does more than the thing Starlink took away, which is a slightly embarrassing outcome for a company that owns satellites.

Time is the price

Patience is an iOS game where the only mechanic is waiting. A circle turns up on a black screen after an unpredictable delay, you tap it in time or start again at Level 1, and every level roughly doubles the window while never dropping below half a second. There's a global leaderboard and a particle visualization built from your own waiting.

🔥 Our Take: Jordan had this idea back in 2013, watching people pay real money for cosmetics that did nothing except put them at the top of a list. So he made the price time instead, and the question is whether you'll sit doing nothing for fifteen minutes to be number one. The stats screen turns every 100ms you spent waiting into a particle, so two people on the same level end up with completely different pictures.
