One Size Fits No One

CREAO lets anyone describe a workflow in plain English and get a custom AI app with its own built-in copilot. Each app understands its specific context and data, can connect to other tools, and can be shared across the team. The pitch is to stop forcing generic SaaS into your process and spin up small, purpose-built apps instead.
🔥 Our Take: Most teams duct-tape their work into software that was never meant for it. The interesting swing here is per-app copilots, not one chat pasted on top of everything. If it holds up, HR, ops, and support each get a tiny specialist instead of fighting the same dashboard. The risk is sprawl and half-kept tools. The upside is control without begging a dev team for every tweak.
Watchers, Not Cameras

Behold Cam-1 is a backyard wildlife camera that forgets people and only films critters. It uses onboard AI to recognize more than 2,000 species, filters out humans automatically, and records 2K video at 60fps. The hardware is compact, weatherproof, battery-powered, and pairs with your phone whenever it can sync.
🔥 Our Take: Trail cams have always felt like gear for hard-core nature nerds or hunters. This one feels like it was made for your garden, not your treehouse. It’s cheap to install, smart enough to ignore joggers, and doesn’t demand you learn photography to catch a fox or an owl on tape. You hang it, forget it, and every now and then you check your feed and feel surprised at your own backyard.

Inference should feel simple. Once AI hits production traffic, you're really managing routing, retries, observability, GPU bills running while nobody's home.
DigitalOcean Serverless Inference handles all of that in one API — OpenAI- and Anthropic-compatible, 55+ models including Claude, DeepSeek, Qwen, and Llama. Scale to zero when you're not using it. Pay per token when you are. VPC and zero data retention on by default.
230 tokens/sec on DeepSeek V3.2 — 3.9× faster than AWS Bedrock (Artificial Analysis). Runs on the same bill as your databases and Kubernetes. One less thing to reconcile.
Ship Code, Not Docker Drama

Ona HQ gives you cloud dev environments that spin up instantly. You get sandboxed containers with your exact stack, dev tools, and security rules all preloaded. It adapts to your infrastructure, permissions, and agents that can help scope, review, and even hand off tasks
🔥 Our Take: If your dev workflow includes 10 painful minutes of “why won’t this build,” Ona might just be a landing strip. The agent side is the real wild card. Imagine debugging, reviewing, or splitting tasks without ever leaving your browser. The downside? Orbiting too many tiny workspaces could get messy, fast.
Can OpenAI Replace LinkedIn?

Nika asks whether OpenAI’s latest project could be the thing that finally dethrones LinkedIn. Some say yes: an AI-powered platform that matches talent to jobs and verifies skills could strip out the noise and make hiring faster. Others argue LinkedIn is more than a job board. It’s a place where people build identity, post content, and keep weak ties alive between roles. The question is whether the future of work will be transactional or still built on relationships.
